See that AMX there 'above' the roof of the Olds? That car sorta 'popped out' at me when I was looking at the photo. I know its not a super clear pic and its faded, but the paint scheme looked 'familiar', so I sent it to my friend, [yes, believe it or not, I have a friend...] as it looked like it might be his car. He agreed and in turn sent it to the fellow who was driving the car at this time who he keeps in touch with. The driver verified that indeed this is the "Rodekopf car", at a Division 5 points race in either 70 or 71, he couldn't remember which. There is a 'sister car' to this - the Kim Nagel car - owned by different people but from the same area and painted by the same man, but Mr. Smith remembered this and could identify.
Thought that was sorta neat.
