Just got back from the event and was a good outing with about 90 cars in the showfield and lots of good all MOPAR racing! About 12 of us hooked up and made the 60 mile cruise to the event, some of the group drove another 40 or so miles to get to the meeting spot. at the track they managed an 8 car field for the HEMI Shootout, not bad for the first attempt in the area. They paid a special tribute to Ken Montgomery, who is still racing his old Dodge A990 car he got new back in the day. He has set records with the car in every decade since it was new! Lots of fast cars and not a Shivy in sight! Enjoy the pics....

Heres a few more, check out the 68 Dart. Hemi powered sporting GSS emblems. Looks brand new and made several 12:50 passes on street rubber, should have gotten Best of Show, but they gave it to a car with a blower instead.

Aaagh! Forgot all about this...and I live just down the road! Would love to have seen that Black `66 Belvedere (Left side background of the Gold `67 GTX). Would have been great to reference mine, since I am nearing completion. Next year!! Thanks for posting the car ****!

I was there as a spectator watching and looking and it was a ton of nice Mopars ! I saw the black 63 FAST car run a 10.46 ! Ron

Thanks for all the pictures man! I wish I could have gone, but I was probably driving right past it on my way to and from Ashburn. Booo. Oh well, my Roadrunner isn't running right now anyhow. lol.
