Picture needed: 1970 Satellite hood mounted signal wire routings

As the title indicates I need a picture that shows the hood mounted turn signal wire routing for a 1970 Satellite. Hopefully clear enough so that I can also I can identify the plastic wire clips that holds the wire to the underside of the hood. this would be very different than a RoadRunner.

Hey, I'm currently disassembling my '70 Satellite for bodywork / painting. I just removed the hood mounted turn signals. The wires have been missing for decades. However, I did notice little clips last night that were still in the hood. I assume they were for the hood mounted turn signal wires that ran under the hood insulation. I hope this helps you. BTW, I'm planning on keeping my Satellite hood and getting the turn signals working again because I think they are COOL!

Thanks for the pictures. I think this is interesting. It appears that our Satellite hoods are different! Mine has these 4 oval holes that the wires run inside, while yours doesn't have the holes at the bottom so the wires run on the outside. I bet yours is a much earlier built car then mine. Mine was built 5/1/70.

they made mine last month. Both your wires should be 52" long. I took less then 2 weeks to get mine. They also sell the bulbs and new or NOS indicators for the hood.

Interesting. IIRC, my Satellite was built in November of 1969 at the St. Louis plant. Here’s a pic of one of the clips that I took off my hood.

Thanks for the information. Currently, these clips are the least of my worries on my project. LOL
