I may just suck at the forum search function but, all over the internet I don't know that I remember coming across very many if any pictures of B Bodies with IRS. I know a few companies sell universal kits.

EDIT, independent rear suspension.

What's IRS?

I was wondering the same. I don't like those initials...
Here's one with a cop.

Kurt those are 4-link suspensions. IRS is independent shafts hanging from the center section, like this http://www.heidts.com/part/heidts-superide-irs/ not straight tubes/axles like those in the 4-links.
cdoublejj, I did find this thread, not sure what info there is. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/independent-rear-suspension.5240/

Also check out the g-machine chassis. http://www.schwartzperformance.com/mopar-b-body-chassis-full-frame

Ah yes - not thinking straight tonight.

If one really wants IRS - not necessarily bolt-in - wouldn't grafting in the rear unibody of a LX car do the trick?

Hehe, we all get brain farts now and then. Yeah, I agree, grafting in one is a good idea. I believe there is a 1st gen charger being built with one. Oh and maybe a 68-70 coronet or RR too. Maybe I can find the build this evening.

Yeah I've salivated over the Heidts unit after saw it on Swartz's site but, all be damned pictures of Mopars especially B bodies with Heidts or any other IRS seems to be as rare as unicorn poop. closes I found are pics and or magazine articles with swaps done with before and afters on fords and Chevy's.

I've looked at the Heits units, the universal comes in quite a few sizes, idk how wide my dana rear end straight axle is on my 70 b body but, you'd think with all their options they have something pretty close.
