I see the difference. When shopping for shifter mechanism some said won't fit pistol grip shifter handle. That threw me off not realizing there are 2 styles. Saw pistol grip shifter handles with 2 holes and wonder why it wouldn't fit.

I took a 70 non-console slip in and drilled a 2nd hole and mounted it in my 92 1-ton
Wish Hurst make a handle like yours witch you could put a screw on grip. A slightly modified (screw tip vertical rather than laid back)1078 handle non-console would be perfect.

Hurst do still sell stuff online.
I think the site is hurstshiftersonline. No computer wizz but just type that into goggle.
They have all the shifter handles for E bodies I am sure you may see what you want.
