i have a bad pitman arm in my 69 gtx, can a pitman arm be bebuilt.

No, you have to replace it. Here is one on ebay, made by Moog. A good brand. $39.39 shipped.

Sorry to bounce in here, but that 1st link posted is an idler arm, not a pitman arm. The Pitman arm connects to the bottom of the steering box then to the center link. The idler arm connects to the K-Frame then to the center link.

In the second link posted, most of the ones being sold are idler arms as well. Not trying to be a know it all or rag on anyone. Just don't want to see anyone ordering the wrong parts and folks getting ticked.

If your pitman arm is junk....well....it's junk. Folks like PST, Mancini, Right Stuff and others sell them. Expect to pay around $90-$120 bucks for one

The first responder was not an "EMT" as someone else indicated -- an IDLER ARM (passenger side) can NEVER Replace a PITMAN ARM (Drivers side -- on the Gear Box).
Pitman Arms CAN BE Rebuilt -- but TOO Pricey....

I have your CORRECT PITMAN ARM in stock.......

I got my pitman and idler arm from Rock Auto. The pitman arm was not a moog part but it will work.
