I recently installed seat upholstery on two different cars. They are unfortunately not Mopars. One was a '66 SS396 Chevelle and the other was a '67 GTO. I took many photos as I did the jobs and I was intending to show the difference in the quality of a set of Legendary covers verses another brand. Both of these jobs are complete rebuilds from the bare springs to the finished seats.

My question is actually two parts. 1. Would you like for me to post these photos of non Mopar seats? 2. Would this offend any of y'all members?

Please let me know your thoughts on this matter as it will take me a while to reduce the size of these photos. They are currently 18x24 inches. What would be the proper size to shrink them to?

I am sorry they are not Mopar seats, but all my Mopar friends must be flat broke at this time as they keep telling me they are bringing me their seats but can't afford it right now.

I'd do the photobucket thing and post the link. Saves time.... And no I'm not offended

I don't mind seeing your work. I rather like GTOs and Chevelles. But don't tell anyone.

Try Picasa. It's free and very easy to use. I just select the photos I'm going to post, export to a folder on the desktop and it makes a downsized copy with or without a watermark. You can get Picasa from Google downloads.

The only thing that would offend most is if you dis'ed our cars! "-)

I say go for it!

Sure. I'd like to see them. I enjoyed your posting on the truck buckets. Thanks.

Post the photos, Mopar or not, I know I would like to see your handy-work, I'm no hatter, both very cool cars, I love them all, form the Muscle Car era & my step dad was a Pontiac guy... As long as you don't go on some GM rant, all should/will be fine... I'm sure opinions will vary thou...

I have a small problem with my starter . I Am running a 1070 - 440 . I tried to install a mini/High torque starter and I am having clearance issues. It seems to be hitting the block and I am told I need to clearance the block. Is there a starter that is a bolt in ather then a stock style starter. Or what do I need to do to make a mini/high torque starter fit. Thanks, Eddie

My brother owns Chebbys but he's still my friend.

Eddie, you'd have better luck getting an answer if you started your own thread. Rene'

Post the photos, but also state exactly what company on each, to compare. We'd like to see the difference and why one is higher quality than the other.

Try to make the size like 1024 or 1200 max, or not wider than most people's laptop screens. That's what I use anyway, as a guideline for bigger pics. Even is 800 is plenty wide enough and easier to navigate in browser/forum windows. Not sure what the actual rules are here on FBBO.

I have tried and tried to post my own thread and can't seem to navigate through this site to even find where to post one. I have been on here for a few years and still have t figured it out lol

Hey Eddie, I am sorry I am not able to advise you on your starter problem. But maybe I can tell you how to post a question. It is pretty simple when you click on the forum tab next to the home tab at the top of the page after you sign in the forum page then opens and you can see all the topics clearly stated. Pick the topic that pertains to your question and then click that topic. Then that topic opens and at the top of the page on the left it says "post new thread". I'm sure you will get your question answered to your satisfaction there.

Eddie , click 'forum' at the top of this page.
then click on the forum you would like to see.
when you get to the one you want you will see 'new thread' at the left.
click on this and post.

I usually make mine 640 x 480. that seems to be a good size for this board. they fit on every screen that way.

Show the pics. Nobody should be offended. I cant see why they would be anyway. Heck I like them all. I just like Mopars a lot more because they weren't afraid to design something out of the norm.
