A few months ago I purchased an a 4 speed to swap into my '69 Sport Satellite, behind a 1967 440 that came out of an Imperial -- more later about the 28 inch radiator/shroud that came with that. Anyway, the transmission deal also included a 4 speed console, which the seller thought came from the same car as the transmission -- said to be a 1968 Dodge B-Body. But, after getting everything home and put away, I realized the transmission had it's own rubber boot (it has the dog leg shifter and linkage as well), so now I wonder what the console is that I have???

I do not plan on keeping it, but before offering it for sale want to be sure I state the correct year and application. There is a PN of #2788366 on the underside of the recessed area.

I am also interested in knowing what this is worth so I can price it accordingly. I prefer a non-console 4 speed set-up, so I don't know what condition most used ones are found it, but while this appears to be complete and original (again, I am not well-versed in these), to me it pretty much needs "everything". I cleaned it up the best I could - -there is minor pitting all around, new woodgrain and paint is needed, there is a 2" crack in the top back, etc.

So, any input/advice would be appreciated...

Thanks!

That's a B body console should either be woodgrain or chrome ribs. Kind of a mix of both. All b bodys had two boots one lower one upper for noise. Could use it for the 70 Charger R/T we are building. Let us know what you want for it im close can pick up.

Looks just like the one in my uncle's 70' RR.

It's a '68 - '70 B- & C-body console, judged by the one-piece console body. The '66 & '67 consoles have a two-piece body, with a detachable "butt". Your console lid is from a later car, probably '69 or '70. Other than the two cracks that can be seen on the very rear top of the console, it looks pretty decent, overall.

That is indeed a b body console it will fit from 66 thru 70 the plastic does crack on the top occasionally. The plastic body would be correct for a late 67 and up. The 66 and early 67's were 2 piece fiberglass. The ribbed top plate is for a 66 thru 68 car the woodgrain pieces are for 69 or 70 cars. I would suspect that is a 69 or 70 setup and someone changed the front plate for some reason. I would guess 3 or 4 hundred hard to tell without better/closer pictures. Hope this helps.

As agreed. the four speed console plate is 67-68. console door 69-70.

69 B body based on the wood grain top and round hole in shift boot. The shift plate is definitely 66-68 (with the ribs) but the factory might have put the wood grain on it to cover it up.
