Maybe this was already mentioned but the one that drives me nuts is "won't be down in the morning"! How do you know they slept upstairs?

How about THIS one...?
On just about EVERY Police show when the Detectives arrive to a crime scene, one of them says What do we GOT ?
It sounds like they "Got" no Diploma and no respect for the English language.
Is there only one dude writing dialog for the Police shows? They ALL say this same stupid and grammatically flawed question.
 
Just like every movie or tv show with a train and someone uncouples the last few cars....and everything keeps rolling? In reality, once an air hose is uncoupled and the pressure drops, the braking system goes into emergency.

My home water heater also 'reheats' water that isn't fully hot but is still pretty warm if not still fairly hot yet so yeah, it can be called a hot water heater :D Got a buddy of mine that 'corrects' me all the time on that and I'll just repeat it over and over several times...hot water heater...hot water heater...hot water heater then I'll ask if he's ate yet and say 'lets go ate' rat now!
 
I had a buddy who always insisted on correcting me when I said that I was babysitting our infant daughter. He would insist that I was parenting. I always wanted to tell him to just **** off but I never did.
 
Well, it may be a matter of opinion but I have always thought that IF they are your own kids, it isn't "Babysitting" either.

And the radiator IS a hot water heater. It uses hot water to heat the room.
 
the news media has a bunch, but the two that I've heard enough is:

"Grim Milestone" in regards to covid.

"bone chilling cold" in regards to cold weather.
