I picked up a set of 15x7 police wheels/dog dishes..they need reconditioning, so I want your opinions:

Black or color match to car...B5??

They will be a 2nd set as ralleyes are on there most of the time... pics will be appreciated to help in decision.:headbang:

I have the same dilemma, bought cop car wheels, I think I'm going gloss black to go with the strobe stripe and air grabber bubble.

This is what does it for me,the rims the same colour as the car

With the black strobe on your roof, i would have to say Black... I think blue wouldn't stand out as much gloss black on them... Not on the newer style cars, thats just my thinking but black if i were to do it..

not cop car wheels, but you get the idea...somewhat

Color match
BUT: I just sand blasted an original set from 1963, going on my Polara (someday) and I powdercoated them black but the car will be black.
Again, color match to the car looks KEWL

All a matter of preference--I like the "sleeper" look.

i agree...however i think later models 71+ don't look as good color matched as the 70- but i guess it depends on the color, and if there are any stripes, strobes, and/or callouts

decision made: getting sand blasted, primered, and powdercoated gloss black.

I've always like body color wheels on some cars. I think it depends completely on which car it is.
