Polishing Aluminium and Stainless Trim Parts

Why does Sonny talk in the 3rd person?

Sonny thinks CC's picture is hot and likes "Keep it up fellas".....guess that answers your Maybe.

2x wife's and too many X lady friends ......I am not too shy..

Thanks Sonny, but I'm just an old lady with a used car. :D I'll never deny that I love my Mopar guys though!!! Life would be so boring without you.

Cream of Tartar...

Thanks guys, I have been using a buffing wheel in my battery drill, but I think I will need to invest in a bench top buffer. Nice work Propwash and 2059. I want my trim to look nice so I am happy to take my time.

Will look at that. Also, I have heard of cream of tartar and vinegar.
You are half right. Cream of Tartar is an old watchmakers secret. Literally. It has been used since forever to restore the faces and dials of antique waches. A little on the tip of your finger and rub gently, let it sit for a moment or two and rinse with water. Wont harm painted numbers and letters etc. Makes them look new again. So, i suppose it would work on our metal trim as well. Very good for restoring the speedo faces and gauge faces. Remove from gauge before applying water........lol.
