I don't get it....kind of cheap isn't it?

Priced to sell imo. Its a fair price. According to the vin it started life as a 68 charger 318. Wish there was more of a description of that transformation.

I don't care for the gauges mounted outside the car... it is cheap for a reason.

Everywhere you take it a hundred people will point out that its not a real Daytona. Shoulda changed the rear window.

I kind of like it. Who cares if people point out its not real. Where is their daytona? Imo one of the most striking features of the second gen chargers is the recessed backlight. I like it. Ditch the traction bars and guages.

If I had the money I would buy it, so it's a clone. Rather enjoy it than worry about driving a 150k+ car.....

Exactly. I think I'd take off the cowl mounted gauges and either the door mirrors or the fender mirrors, having them all is a little weird. And as to it's pedigree I'd like to point out 3 of 5 passerby will shout out "Hey man nice GTO!" at my 3rd gen Charger.

Now if it was a Daytona General Lee clone, that would be something special!

You lost me at fender mirror

Depends on how much it would cost to put on a 1969 grill and bumper, and have it painted non-orange.

It has to much aftermarket stuff on it to be called a "tribute car", but of course tribute is entirely the wrong word to use in describing a clone.

My opinions exactly. If worse comes to worse and you wreck it, its much better to destroy a 318 charger than a real Daytona.

I'm not much of a fan of this one, too much aftermarket, and a bit of a bad resto. Fixing the floors would have been easy while the whole interior was out and before the undercoating was sprayed (I'm assuming it is through rust), same with the speedo cable, assuming that the car had full interior. I also don't think that 33,000 is poor man Daytona money, lol.
