Out of curiosity what dyno are you guys using? I am going to dyno my 511 in a few month and was thinking about taking it on the road to see how it did racing at another dyno. Also if it's not against some rule what do you charge for running an engine with two carbs for a day. I'd only need a few pulls.

SuperFlow 901 engine dyno. I guess if it's against some rule they'll bleep us. $550/day

Cool I'll be in touch when I get somewhere along the line. I'd like to see how the local DTS is compared to another pump. Thanks for taking us along for the ride it is interesting to see what is working for you guys. What are you using for a flywheel?

Can you put the magnums back on at this point and see what the TQ and HP drop is? Or is that too much trouble? I know it's about 25 HP diff on a stockish motor but it would be interesting to see at the level you are at now.

Achtung!
I went back with the solid lifters, .005" hot lash.
140# on the seat and 360# @ .600" lift.
Smith Bros. 3/8 X .080" wall
We have two dyno sheets that say 595 HP @ 6500 RPM where we shut it off. With the big heads the little cam just never quits making horsepower. 500+ TQ from 3500-6000 RPM. Imagine 508 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm with 2.25/1.81 valves and full Max Wedge ports.
Veelawsootee, we don't need no stinking veelawsootee.
