Ported 906 Heads Good Deal?

Unless I was pitting a stock eliminator setup together, I just wouldn’t step backwards in time for iron heads. Why pay a dime for something that doesn’t even come close to performing like the cheapest aftermarket heads you can find will?

well if you already have them and have the means to do the work yourself they are still pretty decent and cheap..... it's not like they're junk but yeah you're right you can buy decent heads for the same money once you invest rebuilding old ones....

Haven't been on here in some time and I just caught this post. I don't work with the guy who had those iron heads anymore anyhow.

Looks like this is an older post. I was going to say to list the valve spring setup too. Some valve spring retainer combinations can get pretty expensive
