My ride home from the Hospital was in a 51 Cranbrook. I learned to shift (kinda lol) in that car just before dad got rid of it in 56 when it jumped time. Didn't have any idea what that meant back then....

1965. I’m more partial to ‘68-‘70 years but… this was kool as a teenager in 1979. From the ABC made for TV movie Rebel of the Road, better known as Hot Rod. The ‘41 Willys gets way more screen time as they wrecked the Belvedere early in the flick.

If you are going to have a 4 door car, pillarless hardtops of the sixties are the best looking ones that were ever built!

My first date was in a 4 door hardtop 56 Chevy. The car was 10 years old and looked and ran dang good.

The 71 turned out to be my favorite after getting used to the eggcrate grill. Also liked the quad headlights. Imo, the quads made the car look wider.
