Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

Tokyo has 2,079 7-11 stores. In total, Japan has nearly twice as many 7-11 stores as the States.
7-Eleven is owned by the Japanese. They are also the most robbed entity on the planet.

Teeth are the only part of the body that can't heal.

When BK expanded into Illinois in the 1960s, they discovered the name “Burger King” was already trademarked by a small mom-and-pop operation run by the Hoots family in the town of Mattoon. The family sued, and BK responded with their suit, Burger King of Florida, Inc. v. Hoots. The result? Burger King could operate anywhere in the state outside of Mattoon, with the Hoots keeping the exclusive rights within a 20-mile radius around the town. The closest BK now sits 25 miles away from Mattoon.

It is a weird fact.
Skin heals itself, the liver is an amazing organ too for it's ability to repair damage from abuse up to a limit !

If your Zip Code exceeds your post count, you're spending too much time on your cars.

If Aliens exist, chances are they are more intelligent than us humans.......as they most likely don't have Facebook.

You think so? How do you explain the people with 2 or more cats that seem to "speak" to each other when the owner isn't even in the room?

They communicate with each other, but not by meowing. Wife read this somewhere, and I sort of took it with a grain of salt but as I thought about it I think there is something to it.
We’ve had cats forever, tons of them. Seventeen at one time last year. They communicate amongst themselves generally through body language and sniffing butts. If they do verbalize to each other it seems to be a sort of grunt, like a loud purr. We never see them meow at each other.
What made me think to post this was something that happened last night. We are in our place in Mexico right now. There are ferals everywhere. There is a little mom cat that was born in our garden two years ago. When we showed up two weeks ago she recognized me immediately and followed me back to our place, meowing loudly the entire time. Now, a few times a day she will appear at our door and meow, and I feed here. Last night we were watching TV and heard a sound almost like a frog grunting, or like when you rub your thumb on a balloon. I got up to investigate to see her and another cat on the deck. As soon as she saw me she started to meow, but between themselves they made a much different sound.
The only other sounds I have seen cats make to each other is hissing or growling.

So, this claim is completely scientific, okay, good.

Ha ha..Yeah. You got me curious though.
My sister has cats. The wife and I have dogs. I don't know much about cats so your claims seemed unusual. I was compelled to look deeper.
Your words do ring at least partly true. They seemed weird to me, given my limited time around felines.

Cats?

They are interesting creatures, but I would rather have a large aquarium with an octopus or maybe a squid.

3 y/o Asshole, aka Astro, not only grunts at 20 y/o Bella but burps farts and snores. (He sort of does that to everybody though.)
Bella spits and  screams back at him then usually follows up with three jabs and a left hook ... she's a tough old girl.
