Posting telephone numbers and email addresses on Classified threads...

I don't know why anyone would want to post their number anyway. I posted an add a while ago on KIJIJI, and the companies calling to "help me" sell my car drove me nuts. I pulled the add the next day and the phone calls kept coming for two months. I would hate to see what it would be like if it was there forever.

I have lost count of how many times I have had to remove this information each week....I don't know why people think it's acceptable to post this info.
PLEASE follow the rules - I know most of you are following the rules. Seems that most offenders are new to the site, so a little leeway is given ....but there are also some serial offenders who have been here long enough to know better.

Just remember, if you post your personal information on the web, it's there forever.

Rant switch off. :thumbsup:

EDIT PS;
If the Conversation feature will not allow you to contact the seller/buyer - then QUOTE/Reply (highlight the applicable text, and click on the 'reply' speech bubble that appears) their last post, and that will alert them to your post, or your interest in that particular thread.
If after that the seller/buyer fails to respond....you probably don't want to do business with them anyway.

I'm learning, viewing through old catarac eyeballs. :)
