Predict the next classic car.

My friend just recently sold his GNX Buick for 105k his 96 Viper GTS brought 76k. Another friend of mine has a 98 Trans Am Ram Air 6 speed convertible with 350 miles on it. Third generation Camaro's and Trans Ams are climbing in value.

Pinto's and Vegas are getting more rare.

I saw a pretty young girl driving a mint condition mid seventies Pinto wagon yesterday. The car definitely was from New England because the ones that are were rotted up to the door handles and long time junked!

Never. Why do you think it was discontinued.
I'm thinking it may be more on the electric car surge that is on the horizon. As well as SUV demands just pushed luxury cars out.

I think GNX and Viper were obvious targets for future collections. I also own a 2003 Mustang Cobra. The car was bought for $25k in 04. They are now going for $25k for moderately used. (But obviously nice condition.) It's not a bull rush. But are holding their own on value. (This was bought because a girl friend at the time loved Mustangs. Lol. Yes, I'm not immune to the influences of our lady counter parts) I'm not a Ford guy. But the Mustang kids are saying these Mustang body style of 2001-2004 are getting attention?

I have a friend that has two 2016 CTS-V's rated at 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet. Carbon fiber here and there and waited 4 months for them. His thinking is they will become collectable one day. They have less than 5000 miles on them and are worth about half of what he paid. he also has a 2014 Caddy CTS-V 6sp manual wagon. It has 4000 miles on it and it may become a collectable.

The GNX, Vipers and that Mustangs are good to go up. That 2003 Cobra is money in the bank, I would keep it, but, then again, I like them and that year is the year to have !! Good for you!!!

The Viper is still one of my favorites and I ordered this one when a buddy let me get on the waiting list without having to lay the $5k required down......but couldn't take delivery. At least got to drive it. Also retained all of the paper work, alerts on delays and progress reports etc. I still want one but I'm even further away from that happening unless Mr. Lotto pops into my life. Yeah right lol

Plymouth Prowler?
That like my Mustang prices have been holding. (At least not going down under traditional depreciation.) Is that the "Sign?" Unknown. Buy its at least not bad news?

I forgot Grand Prix GTP supercharged ,had one and it was fast.Loved the HUD on the windshield.

I don't follow imports, but around here Subaru WRXs are like Ford Mustangs.
Acura NSX, but likely already expensive.
There is a following of Nissin 350Z and 370Z cars.
Original Tesla Roadster?
New CyberTruck?

I was at a friend's a few weeks ago and he said he bought a "collectable" truck...then said "sort-of someday". He is usually not far off. But I was surprised because he is a Ford guy. 2004 step side?

I love Vipers too,but Hellcat Challengers are cheaper and faster.

But imo, the Viper is more fun without all the electronics of the Hellcat. I'm still old school and the Viper is pretty much as close as that can be and still have a 'newer' rod.

Just something I have noticed over the past few years. Mid 80s cameos, the v8 models plus the iroc stuff, yeh I know chebbies but they have started to take off price wise.
The Cameo was a Chevrolet truck from the 50s, it featured fiberglass bed sides.
