Ski, i hope i didn't create a misunderstanding with the comment i made about the golf cart pic you posted. The background looked beautiful. Looks like a beautiful place to live. I was making light of the fact that its nicer than Huber. I wasn't disputing anything. As for color choices, everyone has an opinion. Cool ?

Hello Fellow forum teammate!

PLUS, these guys all know I do not get offended here on the Forum, Not at all

I was at a cabinet mfg presentation by a company whose product I was a dealer for about 6 years ago. The "Decorina" making the presentation said Grey in every shade will be a trend for at least the next 15+or- years! Seeing as how it is showing up on every car mag line, she must have had some good intel.

As I could possibly agree, but I think that fads are (created) and pushed via publicity. When Henry Ford said you can have any color you want as long as it's black, that's what will be offered. It makes good financial sense for them to make as little variety as possible as it saves them money and they don't have to stack or store so many variants. You must remember that not long ago you couldn't buy a green car from anybody as they didn't make any. We also had problems buying certain colors of rugs and curtains. There is a fad in Florida where most new houses all are white on the inside and different developments have a pallet of allowable colors for the outside. They do this to drive demand and eventually people grow sick of the same ****. "Why don't we all wear uniforms?" It would make it very easy for the suppliers and they'd love it. For me, I think color communicates better; remember when these PC monitors were all monochrome?
Well, to each his own but for me I like variety and uniqueness. Color Me Gone!!! :D

I recently saw some new Mopars in Destroyer Grey...a Charger, a 300, a Challenger, and a Jeep. I don't like that "color" and it looks particularly putrid on large vehicles...IMHO. One manufacturer does "something" and the rest follow suit just like sheep jumping off of a cliff.

They're just copying Plymouth. (1950 in Peru Gray).

That gray actually looks very good with flat black stripes.

VERY similar to a classic HIP with black Mopar look.

...and "statutory grape" was indeed an actual Mopar color name on the first run new Challengers.

Well, I AM sick of silver and Grey allows for different shades better than silver or any metallic "Grey" does.
