Anyone use or recommend one? I have some definite ideas, and mostly expect to do my own work on the car, but I'd like a concept rendering and get something on paper to see if I'm headed in the right direction.
I willing to pay but have a budget, I want a car guy, not just an artist per se.

Seems like the top tier guys are out of my price range and likely limit their rendered ideas to cars they get to build, which is understandable.
Probably what I am really looking for is some talented young Graphiti artist that has no issues thinking outside the box that has an affinity for cars.

Any suggestions and/or experiences?

Try it yourself, won't cost much. Buy a block of 25, 8x10 cold pressed watercolor paper and print something like this and other similar images. Use markers, watercolor, colored pencils, crayons, whatever. Personally, I would buy a small set of watercolor pencils. Can use them dry or with a wet brush to spread the color.

Drafting and Cad are right up my alley.
My Mom has been a professional accomplished artist her entire life.
I suspect I got some psychological hangup about going free hand and maybe competing with her?
Its deep.

MS Paint could be your friend....here was mine from last year.... a 72 Plymouth.

Guys, thanks for the suggestions, specifically this is the car body (not the car) I want to enhance. I want to effectively "wide body" it. The rear fender existing body line swoop is begging to be enhanced like a Kardashians lips are begging for a silicone boost injection. The fronts are candidates also with some door vents ala Ferrari F40 with strakes among other things. I need to retain the classic ugliness and update the functionality. It needs the top chopped but that is likely out of my budget and above my pay grade.
You know something sedated that makes a statement. Colors are not an issue for me, that I can visualize. Its proportions that I need help with.

I think you're going to need Steve Stanford. I don't think he charges exorbinantly. If you can't afford that you're not going to have a drop in the bucket towards the metalwork costs you'll be up against unless you're Marcel Delay. But I'm pretty sure he knows Steve, so...

First off, I'm a big Exner fan so whatever happened would have to honor his style. To make it work in my mind and have the lines flow with wider "hips" in the back you have to rotate the inside tail light to horizontal. This will make the top of the quarter panel look more like a '62 Plymouth but I doubt close enough to use one as a donor. The entire "scallop" around the rear wheel arch will move outward and the "eyebrow" over it will get more extreme.

Up front, again, you rotate the eyebrow down to horizontal. This will push the outboard headlight down and require a rework on the bumper. Now that entire body line down the fender and door will be lower and the "flare" above it more extreme. You probably need to complete this first to set how wide the work in the rear needs to be.

I would want to leave all the bright work so there's another couple hundred grand in custom stainless steel work.

It's a wild idea but VERY $$$ intensive. I don't have any paper and pencils here but here's my idea on the bottom of a dirty paper plate...

Very Nice, we are on the same plate. Yes, I want to stay as much as possible with the Virgil theme. Taking the rear taillights horizontal I am not fond of. Between the front headlights and the rears, I need the slanty look. I'm also toying with the lower pair lights now being the exhaust exit for the electric cut outs. It's a Polara 500 I have in mind, body is the same, but trim is different than above pic and its SS can be utilized mostly as is I believe. Back to Virgil quickly, the story I read is Virgil oversaw the design of the 62 Dart early on. Chrysler incorrectly got wind of GM building downsize midsize cars. Virgil was let go, and upper management wanted to revamp downsize the Dart and the style change they made was to narrow the car, which IMO explains a lot of its rather odd look. I hope to reverse that a bit.
