Wow! she's gonna be a beast Shag.. Keep the pic's a coming

You sticking with manual brakes?

good eye prop on the brakes. i have all the parts here somewhere to convert over to disc. the car is at a buddy of mine place, retired wrench and bored with the same old, same old. works for both of us.
brought a 69 runner home from kentucky a couple of years ago for the motor to go in but when i got it on the hoist it wasn't good enough for the hemi so i moved it to a body guy for a good buck and kept the disc parts for later that came with it. when it gets mobile i will convert here at home.

snubber plate

there is a bit of an extra plate tacked on the floor for the pinion snubber to snub against. is what is there sufficient for a hemi. i am guessing when the rear gets out would be good time to address this if need it.

There are TWO floor reinforcement plates on a factory Hemi car. The one shown in your picture is the standard one that all cars got and the Hemi has another smaller one that is welded over top of the original one.

I believe it is repoed and available through Scott Smith.
