I have been looking at pictures for the last week and see alot of different variations on the type and placement of the Roadrunner deacals.
I was courious if anyone had a diagram or photos of a car with the proper decals and placement.
My info so far shows a Standing colored roadrunner on the passenger dash,
a color running roadrunner on both outer doors
and a running roadrunner on the passenger tail panel.
Is that correct for a 68 RR 383?
Thanks

Thanks for the info and link. Do you know which bird goes on the 68 dash? I have seen standing birds on 69s and running birds on 68. I'm not sure if that is correct or not

The colored running Road Runner was on the 69 doors, not the 68.

There are no running birds on the 68 Roadrunners.

I take that back if the car had a rear dress panel it had a running (colored bird) on it. Sorry

68 RR had a standing BW bird on the dash. I will try to get you a pic with measurements from my original dash. For the door, the backing for the sticker as supplied by MoPar back in the day had a notch in it and that was used to line up the bird relative to the RR badge.

make sure when applying these decals that they are in the correct position! when I was putting mine on I was a nervous wreck and put them on incorrectly (a little to close to the emblem). and they look like they are very difficult to remove :)
