There's plenty of Hot Rod parts for the old flat heads, you can get 250hp :headbang: pretty reliably now, that's at-least triple or quadruple the power of what, they ever were... they had like 50 octane & pretty lousy fuel, back then too... good luck & have fun, keep us all posted

Some progress. Z'ed the rear frame 3".Boxed the frame. Sent the axle off to get a 4" drop, found a 48 F1 ford in the local junk yard for the juice brakes and is pretty much mounted.Rear is a early bronco 9" which is about as narrow as they get from the factory, factory Model A cross spring with a store bought ladder bar setup all mounted.

Severe chop looks cool but it aint to comfy to drive. The last A I did it had a 4" channel and a 3.5" chop and with me being 6'2" it was tight. No channel on this one but will get a 3" haircut.

:iamwithstupid: It's real tough/tight fit in a little car like a Model A, especially if your over 6ft, let alone if it's chopped for sure.... try looking over @ www.HotRodHotLine.com , I get there weekly news letter e-mail, some great information, cool articles, show coverage, parts, classifieds & many links there too, especially for Rods of any kind & years....

Nice looking hemi on craigs list New Hampshire I believe a 331 expensive though complete and also a few others.
