Is there a spec listed somewhere showing the difference in pushrod length between a Mopar solid lifter VS a hydraulic?
I'm looking into switching from my 292/509 to a solid flat tappet . I have a pushrod checker, but I'd like a ballpark number if anyone knows. Thanks, Greg

i'm getting .125" difference, crane catalog. you need an asymetrical lobe with a long closing ramp for what your trying to do. engle is the only cam grinder i know of that grinds them.

I must really be out of the loop. I thought that Crane went out of business.

They were bought out by S&S Cycles and S&S doubled the prices on everything. rat bastards.

Yes, solid lifter push rods are longer.

they're back in business. just don't have the big foot print like they used to. it's easy to use a checking push rod and order something from smith bros or other vendors. just don't use the 2 or 3 threads showing method on the adjuster. those types of adjusters are long gone.

Thanks guys!
