Thanks for your info here. I know this is an old thread but it’s been a few years since I started researching LEDs again. Last time you had to mess with wiring and mine is all stock. If this works well on the 69 Charger then I will do the same with the 67. The alternator draw with the regular bulbs has been a sore spot for years.

One question I have, did you use the 1157 LED in all 6 positions or is there another one for the inner 2 positions left and right? I know the old bulbs the inner 2 positions were different call outs.

I replaced each 1157 tail light bulb with an LED. My car has 2 on each side.

I bought the Cougar LED 1157 for the 67. The pic is half old bulbs half LED. LED are much brighter. Dropped in all 6 and tested the blinkers, flashers, driving and brakes. Worked like a champ with no issues. I am going to try the parking and back ups tomorrow.

I bought the Putco for the 69Charger. I got the 1156 in place of the 1095, I am hoping to test this weekend. I am using the cougar for the parking and back ups there too.

So far I am impressed.

Anyone have any experience with these bulbs on a 67 Coronet RT or 500? Concerned with how they look if the bulb is directly behind the reflector in the tail light lens. With some 1157 bulbs I've tried, the reflector hides the difference in brightness between brake lights and running lights.

I am struggling to find a good LED replacement for the old 1095 bulb - saw your post here. Did the 1156 you tested work? Less bright?
