I f I remember right, I had to take it off of my new 383 S, 68 barracuda fastback, back then. Think it was on the wing window. I`d put one on mine now, just for the heck of it, who would care, or be able to prove it wasn`t stock ?

If on the wing window wouldn't that interfere with the view on the rear view?
I was thinking on the driver rear window which would be near the Monroney sticker, no?
