My question is:does anybody have the measurement locations for the R/T striping on the tail , or any way to determine the correct area ....Thanks BILL:hmh:
Silver & red Bee, reminds me of one from our town. It was on the Dodge lot my dad worked @. It was a used 69 that was a Dodge company car stolen, rammed into hay bales & sold @auction bent up. It was an hdtp, buckets, a/c, console factory 8 track.
I don't think stripes were necessarily uniform in installation, mine appears to have more clearance between the marked & circle. Mine was a St Louis plant car which I bought new
I'm sure that the instructions for the line worker were to center the stripe, but none of the Lynch Rd. survivors that I've seen over the years have ever been centered. My car included. I have seen St louis cars that appeared to be centered. Maybe there was more quality control at the St. Louis plant? I did not center mine when I put the new one on. I did it like it was prior to resto. leaning toward the rear of the car.

this 69 R/T I replaced w/ a painted stripe. I centered it exactly where it was, St Louis built (6-69) This was a more custom application. I chromed the marker lite housings also. Cleared the stripe. so you cannot feel it. nice that way.
my stripe on my 1 owner never crashed SUPER DUPER BEE
Given that we are looking @ these cars as "art" they were just job 1 on the line to the striper puter owners! They varied
