Hey guys, I thought that I had the correct (but slightly butchered) connectors for my hood turn signals coming out of the harness. After reviewing the FSM and some connectors sold on another site, I'm not so sure. The FSM shows a male/female 'T' connector like the harness for sale, while my car has a female cylinder connector coming out of the harness (Tan) and partial connectors on the Light Green wire. I don't see how the harness for sale could connect to what I have. If anyone has pictures of their setup and could post them, I'd appreciate it. The first picture is what I have and the second is the harness for sale:

From what I know, the second picture is correct.

I believe Kruisin Moons sells reproductions. You may want to contact them...

Thanks Hawk, have you ever dealt with them?

Hi Baller,

Yes, I purchased hood mounted turn signal parts from them. Check out Photon440's link in the second post. That was a thread that covered what I did to fix up my turn signals that I bought at Carlisle. They needed some work, and Krusin Moons had the parts that I needed. Note that I have NOT yet purchased the turn signal wire extension. As you will see in the thread, I made my own temporary harness. With so many other costs for my restoration, the replacement of my homemade wires will just have to wait.

According to the 70 shop manual and wiring diagram the hood mounted turn siginal connectors come out of the two main bulkhead connectors. The wires and connectors from the hood turn signals them selves are supposed to have a "barrel" type connector on the end of each wire and the wires coming out of the bulkhead connectors are also supposed to have the male barrel connector on them. Some car owners who "add" the hood trun signals to thier cars will usually just half tap into the forward light harness to get them to work.
