For those of you who've relocated the rear leaf sprAngs...particularly on a 1965 B boday.....although I think they are all similar, I would like some info.

Can you run a rear sway bar?

How big of a tire can fit once the sprAngs are relocated and the car is mini tubbed?

Also, what kinda difference does it make with handling?

Mine is only gonna be a street car with maybe one or two trips to the strip a year. Just rying to figure out if it's worth the extra dough and effort. Of all of the cars I've ever had, I've never done the 3" relocate, just the 3/4". Thank you drive through.

I've done a few in-board spring w/mini tubs setups but not on a 62-5B. Later B's and E's. My 71 Dart has been move in but not by me.
Yes you can run a rear sway.
All the cars I've done/have can take a 12-13" wide 28-30" tall tire. Would think 62-5B would also.
Kinda hard to tell on handling cause I usually added better springs, shocks and swaybar too.

If I want to use a 10.5W on my 66 Belvedere, I HAVE to mini tub it and move the springs in but I may just install ladders and coil overs.

That's a lotta tire and all.....but I ain't real sure it's enough difference for all the work....at least for me. Bein older and disabled I have to pick my battles wisely. If my son was still livin here, I might would go for it.

Probably what I'll do is just get the S/S sprAngs. Do yall know which front hangers I need? I've done all this on A bodies, but this is my first B body. I want to make sure I use the right stuff. Thankya.
