One possibility we werent' considering is that it ISN'T an "HP" 440. Looks as if the low performance 440 had a different fuel pump, possibly two considering the Airtex brand as well????

No problem at all. We're just trying our best to help out others with questions. Turns out he was looking for the HP type pump anyway, going by the model number.
