Quick Jack owners?

It's an old thread but thought I would add to it. I bought the 7000# QuickJack from Costco 7 months ago for my 71 Superbee. This thing is probably the best money I've spent. Raises the car effortlessly so the brakes are at eye level when seated on a shop seat. Plenty of room underneath for me laying on my crawler with plenty of room to work. Couldn't accomplish the work I've done without it. Locks into place when raised, no way it can collapse. Lifts my Ford 150 with no problem.

No, don't work for them in any way, just love the lift.
Which Version did you buy SLX - EXT - XLT
Model #
Thanx Scott

Well there you have it. Mine's too short to accommodate my big girl. Story of my life.

Check Home Depot or others for extensions. No, not those,
these.................

I have an email into BendPak as we speak. My model is a BL-5000 from 2014. I emailed support to see if those extensions will work with my model

This is mine the other day and I bought the extensions. Works great!!!!! This is also half way up but a perfect height to do the brakes.

Bee1971's post has me looking at this again. But I wonder why extensions are needed. The 5000 SLX extends to 60" lift point and the length between the front and rear lift points on the Coronet is 48". Seems there's plenty of wiggle room to work with.
Edit - I pulled the trigger and ordered the 5000SLX. Delivery in about one week.

Set it up this weekend. Takes about 1 1/2 hours. The only minor issue I ran into was self-induced. While bleeding the hydraulics I over-filled the reservoir leading to hydraulic-lock at the top (without any weight). Burped the reservoir and everything was fine after that. The Quick Jack is going to be a game changer for me. Now there's enough room for me to slide under using the creeper.

Has anyone run them across the car rather than front to back? I see one problem the driveshaft/ rear differential drop.

Did the car want to nose over at all? That's the problem Ive been having.

They're not designed to run across the car. And I don't know if you could with the tranny and exhaust system in the way.

It didn't. I was pushing on the hood and trunk to verify stability and there was no rocking. It does have a full tank of gas which may offset some imbalance. I'll certainly check for rocking each time it goes up.
For those who don't have a QJ, the photo is misleading. In the photo it looks like the support rails end half-way across the doors, but they extend past the doors up to the perpendicular frame rails right behind the front tires. The back of the rail lifts at the rear of the torque boxes, just in front of the spring perches.

The woman at Bendpak suggested I try to run em across the car since mine doesn't reach.

My model is not long enough to reach both and the new extensions that they came out with will not fit my older model. *sigh*

From an old picture when I first got my QJ it looks like with the blocks stacked there is plenty of room with my Barracuda.

Are you a welder? Know one? Make a pair from 2" X 3" X 1/8" rectangular tube?

Unfortunately, I am not a welder and dont know any that I would trust with this. :( I went as far as making extensions out of oak ($$$$$) and that didnt work out. lol

So wait, you put them cross wise on yer Barracuda?

I haven't tried it yet but I believe I can do it without issue. The stacked blocks should provide enough clearance for low hanging items.

My blocks are stacked on top of a 2X to clear the FW and the exhaust turn ins..........
