Quick question, HELP Please

I ran several engines with OEM rocker gear to 7000rpm in bracket racing events before anyone told me any better. Never hurt a thing with street cams...
Nobody was around to tell me I'd probably go quicker if I shifted earlier either

I had a lot of luck before I went out in the 5th round, got treed and broke out by .010.
Car ran great, strange that it must have been pulling right up to 6200, cause with the limiter set to 6400, it never went over 111.77 mph.
Moving the limit up seemed to be the right move.
