I need to replace my steering box. Has anyone change to a quick ratio box? PST has a 16:1. 20:1 and a 24:1. I am thinking about going in the middle with the 20:1.
I would like hear opinions
Thanks in advance

16 would be very heavy. 20 is heavy at slow speed but okay when rolling. Firm feel has QR worms too

A light car with a 16 to 1 manual chuck isn’t bad but the same ratio in a 3500+ Lb car?
No thanks.

Maybe I should just put a power steering conversation on it

I put a stock rebuilt unit in when the 65 was restored. It has Way to much power steering.

The car I'm doing now will get a firm feel box. Also on my 65 the column length is different from manual to power.
