I'm looking to do some racecar lettering on my 70 RR, but I want to have something I can remove when I want or move it around. I'm thinking maybe I can have some of the magnetic vinyl like billboards be made and I can take them off depending on the occasion. I really don't want to do anything "permanent" with paint or slapping actual stickers on the paint itself. Putting a few stickers on the windows or under the hood are OK though.

Does anyone have any thoughts about how to go about doing this? Happy to take opinions. Appreciate the input everyone. Merry Christmas too.

I'd go to a local print shop and see what they can do. They may be able to make some reusable vinyl decals that peel off easily. The magnetic ones are a good idea but might be too thick.

I put decals on magnetic sheet and trimmed it to fit. Worked great on autocross with a 60mph top speed. They make different levels of adhesion and I went with a stronger one.

As long as you have good paint, wax it well and just apply regular vinyl decals. Remove slowly while heating with a heat gun. The longer you leave them on and the more sun they get, the harder they are to remove.
