im sending my original rad out to a shop which a buddy uses and having them use my tanks on a new core. I need another starter as this one has some bad teeth and sounds like its about to give up. The alternator i just want rebuilt. My thoughts are buy a rebuilt starter and alt or send these out to a local guy who comes recomended. Now i gotta watch the money and im sure having them rebuilt will be more, but i know how buying a rebuilt can be a gamble so whats the thoughts? Which way would you guys go and thanks

If you have a trusted rebuilder, that's the way I would go. Done it plenty in the past.

Most anything I buy rebuilt comes with the lifetime warranty. Unless its some little rinky-dink part, then I'm not too worried about it. Even though the lifetime warranty is nice I take the chance of having to replace it again, but at least I'm not out any $$$.
