Has anyone installed an electric cooling fan 0n a 64 Fury. There is only 2-3/8 clearance between the radiator and waterpump.Maybe a pusher style would work.Maybe I should forget it .Is it even necessary to have the fan-The car is going to end up in Arizona someday-Thanks

i would run it without untill you can check it in summertime there(make sure to run a shroud).pushers never seem to work well here in vegas(close to arizona heat)on my cars i run dual electric fans and eliminate the mechanical fan all together.normally that gives more room and the water pump shaft ends up between the fans anyhow.

Thanks for the reply.Could you elaborate a little.Griffin told me they can't fit two fans on their 22 inch rad. which my 64 Fury takes.I did see a 64 with a single mounted on the front of the radiator. but I don't know where the parts came from.I think your radiator might be bigger than mine.

go to cooling components inc web site they have fans with shrouds to fit your rad they have a slim line fan 2 5/8 or less thick that might work and I think the model ccI 1730 is more clearance at the waterpump area.

So if pushing air in southern cilimate doesnt work. What about in the northern climate?
Because if the option is there i wouldnt mindputting it in the front.
