I have a 440 in a 65 Belvedere. I just replaced the radiator with a Champion and it has 1 1/2" top spout and a 1 3/4" lower spout. The lower spout is on the driver side and the top spout is just off center to the driver side. There is approximately 15" distance from spout to pump on both of them and both make 90 degree bends. Does anyone know what model to use for ordering hoses for this setup? Or, should I just go with a flexible hose on both ends?

just tell the parts place you have a big block in the car...383...same hose that would work on a 440

Thanks for pointing that out. One huge point I forgot to mention was that the radiator is a 22". I think the 383 came with a 26". I tried asking for the 383 hoses and they didn't fit. I think I'm going to be forced into a flexible hose. If I use a 1 3/4" hose on the 1 1/2" top spout, will that adversely affect the cooling ability in anyway? I'm trying to run this radiator without the need for an electric fan. Thanks

383 engines came with a 22" all the time. go to Napa, they are available. if you have to, the smaller top spout from a newer small block may fit. I just can't picture Napa not having the correct hose.

napa will work with you and find a hose that will work...22 or 26 doesn't make any difference
