Rain in my garage

Same weather here, my garage is insulated and heated but with the epoxy floor and opening the door I get some condensation occasionally so I run a dehumidifier. I run it all year long it kicks on at 60% humidity summer or winter.
My cars thank me for that.

Living in Colorado at 7200' humidity is almost non existent. Even the snow is very dry, if that makes sense. The title of this post made me think of an instance back in Kansas. My ex wife opened the garage to pull in and my two year old daughter said. "Look it's raining in the garage. A water pipe had burst in an upstairs bedroom and was pouring in past sagging sheetrock. She quickly called the insurance guy and he said, "Get Steve's Corvette out of the garage!! then find the valve to the water main."

Folks, I am in NY and had the same problem this weekend. My classics had a lot of condensation on them. Air temp. was 45F but concrete floor although dry was 32F.

I opened the hoods on my classics so engine compartment could dry out better.

By the way - a thought just hit me...

My father-in-law swears by the car "bubbles" (CarCapsule) that have a small fan and slowly filters air through them. He has used them for years, and has had great results. These bubbles probably stop all condensation since they filter air through very slowly. This does not allow the sudden temperature change that allows the humidity to condense. I will almost certainly get one of these when my Road Runner has been restored to keep it nice during the winter. Plus, it provides extra protection from things that might bump the car. The only down side is it takes up extra room
