ok firstly glad to know theres a place like this,

I dont have a b body mopar but i plan on it for the future but thats not why im here right now.

I've had a fantasy of building an off road rally type racer based on a charger body. Now i know, a charger is a bit of a boat and is not an impreza in that regard. I've come to two solutions for my idea,

1. take a trashed rusty disregarded charger remove as much dead weight as possible and maybe shorten the frame a bit for a better wheelbase and weight management, (I am not going to chop up a nicer restored one thats just a sin and a crime), strengthen the chassis where i can add a roll cage and say lets race,

2. Build a tube chassis frame from scratch to suit the needs, and use fiberglass body panels molded match the charger or modified a little bit, as the body.

However I know the option for a chopped up rusty charger is a possibility but there maybe more weight in that then i want, i want to know if there is any place i can get a full fiberglass body of a charger not just fenders and quarter panels I mean the whole body either in full or in sections, any insight or advice would be greatly appricated

Welcome. There are good people here willing to help when they can

Since the Charger is a uni-body, the body and the frame are one unit. There is no separate frame from the body. Shortening the body would be difficult. You can buy or build sub-frame connectors that help tie the front frame rails to the rear and stiffen the body. That with a good cage would make a strong base to work from. If you are looking to build the strongest lightest vehicle you can, tube chassis and fiberglass body would be the ticket.

Welcome!!!you know there,s a guy that runs a 70 cuda or challenger up Pikes peak....It,s about what you described....Mopar muscle had an article about it...
