'70 Roadrunner with Rallye gauges, just recently when turning on headlights I noticed all gauges (excluding ammeter) increase by about a 1/4 inch. Any ideas, grounding?
Hmm,
typically, electrical circuits would "dim" if adding more "Load"
AC, unhealthy circuit.
However
I would definitely say YES to ground, being a 12 V NEG system, the ground is 100 percent essential for a Healthy circuit, therefore "weak" Ground simply means more "resistance" creating less flow
Ohms Law: E=I/R
So
Less or Weak Ground means less voltage
