Hi all,
Old Mopar wench here. I joined this website hoping to find information about the possible whereabouts of our old `63 Plymouth Savoy max wedge racer "RAMAZAN" This was a factory 13.5:1 compression ratio, radio/heater delete, torqueflite model that was the scourge of US 30 Dragstrip in the late `63 and `64 season. US 30 was a well known strip near Gary, IN and Chicago, IL We went up against many of the best known cars of that era. This car was the consistent class winner in American Hot Rod Assoc. Ultra Stock Class, running mid to low twelve's, with an occasional pass in the high 11's. Pretty fast in it's day. Taking the class championship at the US 30 Summer Nationals in `64
The car was sold in `65 and that's when I lost track of it. Perhaps someone on this site will remember something about this notable example and get in touch with me? I would welcome any contact about drag racing in that era. I have lots of memories to share.
I can be contacted through this web site or my email; Text or phone deleted Members can PM and you should get an email notification
I'm looking forward to poking around on this site.
