Ran the TF 270 heads today

Thanks for the video. I believe you commented on a thread about the 295 65r MT drag radials on one of my threads. Is that the 30” tire you mentioned? Do you have a thread with your suspension set up? Picks? I would appreciate it.

This meeting was on my Pro Bracket Radials , 28x10.5 . I will be buying some PBR 29.5x10.5 which are 29.9 tall . I think its time
A few mates have run the 295 ET Street radials , i have tried them a long time ago with my 440
Suspension is pretty basic , mopar XHD leaf springs , Caltracs , small block torsion bars , Viking dbl adjust rear shocks , QA1 single adjust front shocks . Try to grab a shot or 2 tomorrow

Viking dbl adjust rear shocks , QA1 single adjust front shocks
That's an interesting choice.
I put the Vikings on the front first.
Eventually I will have Vikings on the rear, but because I am very likely to go with a triangulated RMS StreetLynx or GERST the shocks are different than leaf springs shocks and $325/pr is a bit much to do twice for the rear.
My point is I have 3 way adjustable CEE-2730 rear shocks for now, Vikings in the front because I thought the front was more important to have that 18-way adjustability.

I bought the qa1 shocks about 8 years ago , and fitted rancho/ caltrac rears not long after . In my opinion for drags the rear is more important , at least at my level . Would better fronts improve , possibly , BUT at $8-1000 landed a pair of Vikings i will work on areas more important to me at the moment

Mine were $325/pair.
Seemed to cost the same regardless of who I shopped.
WOW! +$500-$675 for taxes and shipping to the Land Down Under!!

Dont forget , add 30% for conversion rate . So that goes out to near 500 aussie pesos to buy before shipping , then 10% tax on final cost
And crddit card fees

Only pic from day
Doug , will try that saturday . Along with new tyres , will also go up to 19.5psi
