they didn't as far as I know , a lot of nice cars are "wrecked " converting them to right-hand drive . up until about 20-25 years ago all cars HAD to be converted now we can keep them original and left drive

Did not know that...still a shame, looked like it was a nice car...

There's a local company that makes Eleanor replicas around here. They were on the local news once, they said they send most of them to Australia. This has been about 5-6 years ago. I think they make them from coupe's mostly due to fastbacks are more $$ and harder to find. I think they still advertise on Ebay.

Like most here, I too am sad to see a Classic destroyed (even a faithful replica), but I draw the line at a Mustang being called a Muscle Car. :mad:
