Rare vs Desirable

Those have a cult following. They draw LOTS of media attention.

There's a small fleet of tham that converges on the Lake Mirror car show ever year, and are featured nex to the vintage Chris Craft boats.

Amphicars

:iamwithstupid: yep them Amphicars have a following, I've seen a few go for $100k at some of the High End Auctions... I think I would rather have a couple of RR's or a couple 'cuda's or some other muscle cars than one of those, I do think they are cool but just not for me... you'all do no what BOAT stands for right ? Break Out Another Thousand

its cool in its own way. i dont consider them 65k cool though. i could buy or build me a couple nice B Bodies for that.

The same principal applies to our cars. There's a guy near me who's been trying to sell a 1974 Satellite Sundance for over a year now. First he tried to pass it off as a road runner and got called on that. Now he's trying to pass it off as a Sebring Plus. The Sundance cars are much rarer than the rood runners or the Sebring Plus cars, but they never have seemed to be very desirable.

They are kind of cool in a way, but way overvalued IMHO. They aren't a very good boat or car.:drowning:

Remembering back you couldn't get a ticket in the water either, slow ride...

Allthough they are cool little cars it's just not my cup of tea.
