I'll pay $2500 and $125 shipping. Maybe more if I can get a set of linkage for a 727 auto car(carb linkage and the kickdown)

I don't want an original set and I don't care if the carbs were reproduced in Timbuktu(Ibukedone)- my Weber IDF copies are basically identical to the original IDF's, when D'ellorto's were reproduced before Weber Spain decided it was too costly to do two brands I compared an Original D'ellorto 45 and a D'ellorto

I have an aircleaner I need to get out and make sure it will still do what it needs to do.

Thanks. I can do a check, USPS Money Order, Zelle, Paypal, Blood Sacrifice to the Olde Onnes Lurking at Doors to Perception Seeking Entry to the World of Man, Destablization of Third World Economies, Major Election Rigging(have references), and I have a number of Gibson SGs and the Last John Birch SG produced by the original firm before it was sold to the Diggins Family(JayDee).

(mainly throwing in the odd crap to screw with scammers- actually depending on your point of view, I could potentially accomplish it all if it got me a Six Pack)

are you looking for re issued holleys and a manifold? I don't understand the weber reference. fyi your inbox is full

I want the Holley reissues-reproductions ideally.

However, for a short period around 2002-2004 there were some knock off carbs made and Holley had a fit including legal fight. This was pre-440Souce, and these were Red China or S. Korean built. I think they sold 200 sets before Holley found a way to stop it. There was this weird Mopar board up in Canada that was an alternative to Moparts and MoparStyle(Dave S. was a hot mess).

The Canadian board was where the Chicoms were first advertised. I remember the guy who ran the board had an avatar of DeeFens from "Falling Down"(the Michael Douglas character) except he had photoshopped a clown face over Michael Douglas. The Chi-com carbs then showed up on MoparStyle. Rarely did even a mention happen on Moparts. Tom was still over Moparts and he didn't let them advertise in the classifieds, though they usually would stick up an advert on the last day of the month when Tom started a new thread for Parts for Sale. I think Dave S on MoparStyle was still throwing around his importance in his own mind and he talked about being a dealer for them if they cow towed to his greatness, that never happened, and when he finally completely quit the dirtbag collectors business he tried to race professionally and then he tried to break even racing by selling performance parts- except he had alienated a good deal of the Mopar people he wanted to sell too- he also had a weird vibe around him in person now that I think about it.

I know for a fact that this all happened with the Chi-com Unauthorized reproductions because Demon Carbs rebuilt all tri-power and six pack carbs over near Dahlonega GA and they went through about 20 or 30 of the first sets of the chicom knockoffs. Several of the people who worked there took Kodak Digital Printout photos(digital polaroids) and digital pictures they got printed out at Walmart of them and there was no part numbers stamped or cast in. The only stamping was 1 was the outboard closest to the radiator, 2 was the center, and 3 was the outboard closest to the firewall away.

The guy who had them had 340+6 carbs and 440-Six carbs, no intakes, no linkage, no air cleaner. It was an eyeopener how cheap they were for the level of quality- let me qualify that, the front outboard for the 340 matched the 440 and it was off but fixable. Holley in the midst of being pissed got off their duffs and started to get reproduction Six Pack carbs on the way.

The number of how many sets were out there was supposed to be 200 of them in the western hemisphere- Canada to Tierra del Fuego.

Anyway... if I'm paying $2600, I would like Holley's reproduction 440-6 carbs and the aluminum intake by Edelbrock or a factory intake. If the money is right and someone has a set of the Chi-Coms with no id numbers, I'll take them if they're cheaper than the Holley repop's.

I've just had too many of Edelbrocks that were better than Carters or Rochesters, done way too many IDF conversions and D'ellorto conversions- owners ended up as well off with a Chinese carb as they did an Italian or Spanish one. I replaced the Stromberg on my Series IIa with a chi-com Weber knockoff of the DGV. Cheaper and worked better.

I just mean that I looked at a lot of 50+ year old stuff that looks like it has been dug from the ocean floor and I'm not screwing with that. Peace.

I'll ask Cthulu to magically lower the price for reproduction carbs from 2400+7% tax+70 shipping and see if he will throw in a new intake as well. His tentacles moved in circles so that means no. Shucks. If it had worked, I coulda asked for a cheap 70 charger hood.
