After I changed the transmission oil in my Coronet, I had to drain it out again because I realized my shifter seals were leaking and had to replace them. I did run the car for an hour or so with the new oil in the trans. Is it okay to re-use the oil? At 9 bucks a quart it cost me around 90-100 dollars to change the oil the first time around.

Think of it like this, if your shifter seals weren't leaking you would have been happy to run this oil in your transmission for many years.
As long as you drained it into a clean container just pour it back in, or after a quick filter as suggested by dadsbee.
It hasn't become old in 1 hour.

I had to do adjustments on the internals several times after rebuild.
Every time I drained it straight back in the 5 gallon pail it came from, just make sure the area around the drain plug is clean.
