What's the compression on that 6.4? Why would a starter fault line like that?

13.5 compression.
I got the 1st MMX/microsquirt ignition setup right off of the dyno last winter when Molnar sent me the wrong reluctor wheel to use the MSD 6-hemi controller.
I was having issues early on trying to figure things out with it.
It would backfire and kickback when starting sometimes.

That there sounds like the culprit that damaged your starter. The kicking back donkey is detrimental to the starter castings.

Bob, I see your running rocker arm stabilizers. Are the rocker arms stock or aftermarket?
Are you willing to talk about your cam specs or is that proprietary info? I have been considering a similar build, talked to MMX and Arrington a few months ago. We didn't talk about the cam though, and I will be running a pump gas compression, around 11 to 1 or less.

Technology is amazing.
I am using manton rocker shafts which are a bit beefier than stock.
Stock rocker arms, stock lifters. Manton pushrods.
Cam is hydraulic roller
.617 lift
.251/.264 @.050 duration
110
Talk to Byron at MMX.
He can spec you a custom cam. He knows his stuff...
