No idea of value and I am trying to glean As much info and pictures as possible.

No idea how to value but figured this group would be more helpful than the Blue Oval Snobs:

I know a price is needed so for giggles, let’s say $50,000 obo( I know it is high but I honestly am just trying to help a friend)

Do you really think it has any value other than KBB?
Honestly don’t know. She tried reaching out to some ford forums( didn’t realize the connection to the show) and all they sid was demean her and ignore the information request she was making.

Anyway, I’m personally don’t get geeked up over things like cars owned by celebrities and such. I like em to drive em.

Happy new Uear!

A real screen used one I just found was sold for 50k Here it has documentation showing it came from the show. 1976 Ford Gran Torino

Here is a quote from the first link in my previous post. "
  • "A number of cars were created for filming, Ford released a “Starsky & Hutch” version of the 1976 Gran Torino and sold 1,305 of them – one of which was used as a backup car during filming."

Wonder if all these were built at Lorain Oh plant (now defunct)??
Do you know where she got that document??

Back in the 70's a friend of mine bought one brand new in silver with a white stripe. with the 460. Very Very cool!

Restored/ restomod'd selling prices can be found between $30 -$60K.
A complete #4 condition car?... depends on what it 'needs'. In CA, likely a complete interior, and then some. If that, but no rust?... probably $6 - $8K?
If it was fully functioning, driving car and the paint was 'brought back' (#3 condition car?), I'd think $8 - $10K. It's not a performance car, it's a limited run paint job on a car (made somewhat famous) because it's likeness was used in a TV show. Still, a cool car to me (I was a teen watching that show)...just not a high value car.

Neat! I loved that show as a kid. Popularity rose after the Starsky & Hutch movie came out several years ago. I would guess anywhere from $25k to $50k depending on condition, drivability and completeness.

A regular 75 Torino couldn't be more than a $10k - $15k car.

I loved watching the show too!
The car was certainly memorable! I don't think I have seen the show since it was on on TV!
