What's it Worth Real Starsky and Hutch Torino(in California). Friend of mine trying to help a neighbor

They ARE worth a LOT more than a non-factory S&H torino.

Last year I ran into a lady at a thrift store, who was driving a honda element that had a bumper sticker that said- "My other car is a Starsky and Hutch torino".
Odd sticker, I thought. I told her about my 71 351 gt. She asked me if I was interested, so I asked "how much". She said 100K and told me one just sold for more than that at auction.
I tried not to laugh, but checked it out when I got home. Sure enough, one did sell for about 100K but it was an actual, documented set car in perfect 95 plus point condition.
I was a little surprised at the actual values for more realistic condition cars, but I have since purged that info from my organic data repository.

Those 70 and 71 gt's have been gaining a LOT of value lately.
When I had mine, they weren't worth anything.
Now they are. Figures. That almost always happens to me.
72 and up gran torino sports are also gaining quite a bit of value, lately.

Oh, and agree on getting the "Marti Report".

It's a MUCH better resource than the best we have, which is Galen.

Would be a worthwhile investment and probably add value to the car, as well as help with the sale.

I remember one episode of Starsky and Hutch.
One scene was they walked out to the Torino, and Starsky went to start it up... nothing..dead.
He opens up the hood, and his engine was gone... STOLEN! LOL He was pissed!

In the pilot, someone shoots multiple times through the windshield.

Turns out it was an identical car.

What are the odds?
