Rear leaf sliders

I have a old DC performance book that has the LEAF LINK pro stock leaf spring slider in it, is anyone using this type of rear spring system or is it past tech.?

thanks ride looks really top notch I had the same set up on my 68 r/r drag car but went to a ladder bar set up never had a chance to test it out

There’s a few guys (more than a few really) over at FABO running sliders on the rear of there leaf spring cars. A bunch are running Cal tracs with the sliders. It works very well. More than a few are recent builds.

Old tech? Maybe, but it works very well.

If your car/engine/set up is beyond leaf springs, then it’s a new ball of wax.

How much power is too much for a Cal trac system with sliders? I am going to step on my junk this season and see how it works over 1000 hp with a 3700 lb brick.

I run sliders on my dart with the caltracs. That car is the opposite of the rr, I had to throw the kitchen sick at it to make it hook with the all iron hemi.

NICE! BUT, U ABOUT HAVE TO THROW THE BOOK AT ANY HEMI TO MAKE IT HOOK!!

thanks for the replys don't think ill change on my dart coz it only makes an estimated 500 or 600 hp but I will do this on my duster drag car

Have complete Cal Trac system,springs and bars with Vikings on all 4 corners.

Have to dig through pictures,but I think my car had a leaf link at one time......
